說明

Within the framework of the OPKK project "Development of the System for Monitoring the Status of Species and Habitat Types" - GROUP 14: "Creation and Development of Monitoring Programs for leeches," new data on the abundance and distribution of leech species of interest to the EU were gathered. These data were collected using methods described in the newly proposed monitoring programs, aiming to test their adequacy for long-term monitoring of species conservation status. This dataset includes observations of Hirudo species during 2022 and 2023.

Several methodologies were applied and are all described in the project reports. For each record there is an associated reference noted, which represents the project report from which the record is taken.

方法步驟描述:

  1. Records are results of the project carried out by Institute for Environment and Nature, Ministry of Environmental Protection and Green Transition, a Croatian GBIF node. Experts for concerned taxonomic group carried out field research. Records were structured in the table form and interpreted and entered in the appropriate format and mapped to DarwinCore. Species identifications are validated by an expert.
